There is a society in dystopian Chicago of the future whose members have come up with a way to avoid conflicts and maintain an unshakable order around. Each person, upon reaching 16 years of age, must determine what his soul lies to and, depending on his personal qualities, join one of the five factions - Sincerity, Fearlessness, Erudition, Friendliness or Renunciation.
